In summary on TOS, Larry (LWSVOL) is calling BS on the booster fight conspiracy theory that exploded on here in detail today. When pressed by multiple posters about all the boosters pulling in the same direction and going after Gruden, he says Gruden will not happen (as he has maintained all along). When pressed again with what is the hold-up, his response was "the bride."

Mullen immediately comes to my head. She has been very public about not liking the fans while he was at UF. I could see her not wanting to come her in fear of the pressure.

Other possibility is Frost. Anyone know if his wife is also from Nebraska? She may want to go home if she is,

Why on Earth would you assume he is?? He hasn’t coached in a decade and UT isn’t the first team to come calling nor will they be the last. It is pretty clear he has no interest in coaching and I can’t say I blame him

I think LWS is unfortunately right about a lot of things, but I don't believe they are on the same page. I would think if all these powerful boosters were all for the same goal and threatening to pull their financial support, the Other side would have no choice. Wish Aqua would tell us more about "there's more to it"...

Please explain to me why in the world you think any of his control would be lost by hiring Jon Gruden? Politics is about money. Everything is run by money. Whoever is giving the money (Haslam) will maintain control. This. Is. Life.
