I talked to someone that's husband was a very large booster for UT before he passed away and she said that she was told from the main boosters that Butch is finishing the season and that Gruden verbally committed to coach for 4-5 years with Lane as OC/coach in waiting... I'm willing to bet a case of beer that this is true.. because she was the same one that told me Fulmer was gone a month before it happened. You can believe me or not but she doesn't lie.

Are you certain she didn't mean Lane's current OC... Kendal Briles?

Reasonable imo. Our average seems to be roughly two days a thread. But business picks up a lot on gameday and the weekend in general from people eagerly awaiting a firing on Sundays and Mondays. If Butch were to get fired after this game, I estimate we would be on XXIX by then.

He could get fired by that thread, sure. I doubt it only because I think we will win Saturday.

But I thought the poster meant replacement announcement by thread 29. I'm saying more like thread 45 for the replacement haha.

I think it is, which is why I personally believe he is fired around 40 and we make a hire around 45.
