I think these figures from Florida support my argument to a large degree if you simply consider Florida, FSU and the U fighting over the same talent pool and not even considering the competition from UCF, USF, etc.

But, man, if you're a Georgia fan, you've got to love your in-state pipeline. Wow!

UCF, USF, etc aren’t taking any of those 4* or 5* from the big boys. No competition there.

No need to twist words to defend your hypocrisy here, Bass. I’ve never said we should be optimistic or that everything is fine and dandy. I’ve consistently agreed that we’re not seeing much, if anything, encouraging from the AD right now.


All I’ve said is that we don’t know what’s really going on and we should let it play out before we make our minds up about it all.

I don’t care if you didn’t bring a backup. You put someone else in even if you have to put in a TE or DE to play that position. It’s 2017, and you don’t play a kid with a concussion.

The fact that they traveled with just 5-6 OL and didn’t have a contingency plan is just another indicator of how incompetent Butch and the offensive staff he’s surrounded himself with are.



A lot of people here are still really underrating how bad of a coach Butch is because they bought into his snake oil so hard. Once th next coach shows up, it will become a lot more clear. We could end up with our 10th choice and it will be a big upgrade.

It's been said they are down to 6 scholarship guys at practice. I don't think that means they traveled with that few. I think that number is after Kendrick went down

If they do get a few, it won't be significant. But taking an admittedly simplistic approach, UF, FSU and Miami are certainly splitting the pool up far more than what happens in Tennessee and certainly Georgia.

Now, if UF would have just demonstrated more patience with McElwein and let him fulfill the term of his contract...

Who did they take along besides the starting 5 and Johnson? I wasn’t paying super close attention to the sideline, but I didn’t see Brooks, Niehaus, or Locklear there.
