I’m beginning to think this woman is a large lynch pin for us right now. I feel like she is an SJW hack job who has pissed and moaned her way to the top and probably shouldn’t be allowed to be the manager of a dollar general store. And no, I’m not exaggerating or joking.

I think she hates athletics. She probably hates masculinity or competition, like most of her ilk and she clearly doesn’t understand the revenue Tennessee football generates for this school as a whole, or the money it brings in from donors and boosters.

so , being a bully in the press and beating up people helps?..im not sure where this is going..but go a head and insult and be an ass before you explain in general terms...person to person.

Dude. Drink some water and go to bed. I don’t even know what you’re even talking about.

Simple logic. Make the opposition commit to doing something you wanted them to do in the first place. Like throwing up C-wire and tanglefoot on the easiest path of approach and force the opposition either into your kill zone or off the main line of drift which wears them out and makes them vulnerable to counterattack.

In this case, making the opposition do what you wanted could mean removing Jones. Which opens the door to...

The booster's choice of coaches. Namely Gruden if the Grumors are correct. Currie is forced to either accept his own demise by allowing Jones to continue with the possibility of the Kendrick situation biting him in the backside or by accepting he will lose ground, but not be defeated in the end.

I could have been an officer, but they found out my parents were married and I worked for a living.

GV I have to respond to this amazing post before I turn in. I think there is an L shape ambush setup against the AD/AA. Both avenues of approach are covered with far security locked and loaded with M240B's.

Kill zone is heavily covered by heavy weapons squad and assault forces ready to push to the LOA. Support element in reserve with medics and mortors to fire outside the LOA when the enemy retreats, they're aimed at TRP's.

Big bang's I love them..claymores outside the far security for those you don't contain in the kill zone.

How'm I doing. Every thing is set for zero EPW's, all EKIA's.

If there is failure it can only be due to mechanized enemy or poor communication when it's initiated. Good thing is it all starts when the first piece of American lead is sent sailing on a two way range...here's the key..

Every ambush is perfectly executed from planning and rehearsals (2012). Technically this plan should be solid by now except for one thing. The enemy always gets a vote in how things turn out.

I'll stay up a few to see your response..Eng. in the 'Stan and Iraq...I did dirty boot time from 96-04.

I will have to honestly say that I have ways considered myself a fairly intelligent individual. But as I read the complex conspiracy theories that you boys and girls banter about it basically just goes sailing over my head. Kudos to those of you who have the forensic capacities to connect random drops of information into relative coherent trains of thought. My hats of to each of you.

And so many of them 😳

I’m probably her least favorite fan but she tagged the UT student government who hosted the homecoming breakfast. She did not tag the wrong UT!

Wrong...... She tweeted the University of Texas student government. Notice the Long horn.

You can go back to being her least favorite fan haha.

I am starting to believe there is some truth to Bev being a problem here and she needs to be put in her damn place and told to move aside. What does she know about football? How does Joe Dipetrio feel about all of this I wonder or does he even care? What other major university is such a cluster from top to bottom as ours?😡😡😡

Several of you posters had some great answers. I will have to buy a fine bottle of scotch and do a tasting with 4-5 of you at one of the home games next year. I will post the exact answer that I had for the game theory payoff once Butch has been formally fired. I do not want to give the competitors insight into how they should be thinking about it. If you answered then DM me on Twitter and we can pick a game as a group.

Formally..so he's informally fired..paperwork isndine waiting on an announcement. Would love to see that paperwork. If I'm reading it riggt.

After further review..Butch should resign. He has done collateral damage to the University's reputation and the financial impact would require a PHD to figure out, if he's found to be liable. I'll tick with rearrange the staff, Gruden announced as HC for 2018. Butch takes the fall with grace, UT saves it's rep, narrative immediately shifts to Gruden hire and the forming of staff. Fans immediately understand it's a lost season, players have a huge weight off their shoulders and something to rally around if the right interim is put in place and the staff properly fired and promoted properly, recruiting is a juggernaut with the announcement of Gruden before signing day....

To all the "insiders" that showed up. Good luck on your theories. I'm off to bed.

Came to the same conclusion, Hawk. I quoted myself 😬 saying such just a few posts above yours. We were probably posting at the same time!

I don’t want any updates. No news is good news. I hate Butch Jones the football coach as much as everyone else, but with his job on the line I can’t believe he’d be so stupid to allow a kid to play with a concussion. How do you miss that??? The protocol in place makes it virtually impossible to miss. The family could not only sue the school but the SEC as well. They have someone there as well.

They have a damn good case.

The Comb is one of my favorite posters on VN. Insiders are around, it has been a very interesting past 2 days. The Kendrick’s issue is a big deal (both in the health of that kid and on the implications it has on Butch).

For the game theory nerds, whoever can correctly summarize the implications this has on Currie and the boosters will win a a couple free scotch drinks on me at a home game next year.

Currie just lobbied and was granted approval to retain a coach that was potentially involved in endangering a player. His interest in retaining said coach (prior to the BK issue) was a stall for time to flesh out his BATNA.

In those efforts he spent two days campaigning his message to support our players to quiet vitriol for the decision.

This was all prior to BK's news being broken and making his stump speeches sound hollow.

Antone Davis has also resigned amidst all of this, and appears to have had broad support from players and parents. That may have been coincidental but it raises further questions on the player treatment and culture Currie has just campaigned for.

This puts pressure on Currie to expedite his timeline and oust Butch sooner or face negative PR from inaction and acceptance.

Ousting Butch now would cost more money that Currie would need to raise, or force him to face an onslaught of negative press as a new AD. I believe that is actually the pressure he was trying to avoid when he made these moves that backfired.

Both factors diminish Curries ability to negotiate a BATNA that supersedes the one already presented. They also exacerbate Curries need for cash that Boosters have threatened to withhold.

Currie's opportunity cost to stall for more time have essentially gone to zero unless he wants to ruin his career trying.
