Yet the trainer knew nothing, the medical staff knew nothing nor did the SEC's rep know anything, but CBJ should be responsible and be fired for something he is not responsible for based on NCAA rules
In a concussion protocol the SEC rep takes over on the sideline. If the SEC rep says a player can't go in, they can't go in.
To protect the university, Currie could be in a pickle at this point.
The thing is, it's been reported that the coaches knew it and kept it from the medical staff. Investigation to see if that's true or not. The medical staff gets involved when there is a readily apparent injury or when a player/coach tells them. It's a school policy that either players or coaches or both tell the medical staff immediately if something is wrong.
Well, if Butch is fired it will technically be "after" the KY game. That's where the "insiders" always have a way out...with vagueness.
Again, for the impaired: I simply provided info that his buyout was finalized last week and Kentucky is his last game.
My speculation was hes out Sunday or Monday. My personal opinion based on the confirmation that his buyout was complete.
Currie isn't that stupid. If Butch is still here season tickets plummet, recruiting tanks, less donatations, no hype, dead program. He has the financial freedom to delay now but after the season is over, he will start hurting the bottom line substantially. Therefore, i don't believe Currie is trying to keep Butch at all.
Im thinking its going to get real bleak in here.
What would make some sense is that Jones has some really bad skeletons in his closet. It might go way beyond this concussion, and something in CBJ past actions is trying be suppressed.
Thinking they are tied at the hip, but if Butch was fired, hes taking Currie down with him. Currie may have turned a blind eye to one of Jones actions/or inaction. CBJ probably asked to finish out year..then CBJ would go quietly in the night at seasons end.
They both failed to realize CBJ ineptitude at coaching.
Now thats not to say we dont have Gruden. But its probably not going to be Currie making the delivery.
Purely speculation of course.
Reputations on the line.
First one exposed: DocVol..."Butch will be fired following KY no matter if he wins or lose"
Next ones standing in line.
Really? Lying to the media saying it's a LBE injury and not a concussion vs letting a player play with a concession are two very different things.
Now I'm not saying Hurd didn't also play with one nor am I saying Butch knew for certain Kendrick played with one, but Mama Hurd's comparison here is so dumb. Really dumb. For real.
Rather than simply suggesting all these contradictions (in your mind) ... why not simply state who said Gruden was a lock? who said Gruden had been in the plans for five years? and who said he is basically already hired?
I have only read one person (MIT) say Gruden was a done deal 100% but have NOT read the other things by the "insiders" that you stated where said...
There has been a LOT of speculation in this thread by everyone.... but not any so called "insiders".
As far as the local media, we have a present coach, he has not been fired in a public way, they must report accurate information and they want to keep access to the AD office .... what do you expect them to say?
Now, what else you got?
