Was Kendrick recruited by Sam Pittman? Wondering because his mom sent out a tweet congratulating him on their #1 ranking. Just that it seemed odd.

There were rumors of them being pittman fans and that was a sore spot and why BK was seemingly in the doghouse. If you remember he played bad against Oklahoma in 2014 and then couldn't get on the field consistently after that even though he outplayed the other OL.

That whole "he's in the dog house" thing makes a lot more sense if Butch is a vindictive control freak.

That sounds like something Butch would do.

Butch had a nack for playing less talented players since he’s been here. Uses the excuse of them not practicing well. Well guess what, anybody can look good in practice but come game time it’s totally different. See Dormady.

You've owned being negative before, why try to deny it now?

Yeah you are right. But at this point I'm not sure if there's much difference in being negative and being realistic. I'm just fed up with the status quo and lack of leadership. It's unreal

I'm pretty sure the burden of proof in court doesn't apply to firing a coach. It might if it got back to court in a lawsuit, but if UF was able to fire Mac for cause (or use it to force a reduced buyout) over his "death threat", this matter seems even more substantive.

Never said it did. I think Mac could have legally fought that and probably gotten some $ out of it. But for various reasons, he decided to negotiate a deal.

At this juncture, there is no evidence Butch knew and/or directed Kendrick to play. That may or may not change. But bottom line is that conclusion cannot be made at this point, and there are people in place who should monitor this kind of issue.

To be honest I'm more negative about UT than I've ever been in my life, by far. It's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel when there is so much dysfunction at the top.

Me too. Even at the depths of the Dooley fiasco, I always was optimistic that the ship would get turned around, that we'd make the right hire to fix the program.

I don't believe it anymore.

Still leads our team in passing TDs and passer rating fwiw.
