See....that's how you have a rational thought. Proof of coaches playing a player they believe to have a concussion should, and would, carry dire consequences for those coaches.

How many snaps did the backup play, due to injury, against the 2 most physical defenses in the SEC earlier this year?

If someone gets hurt, that’s a different story. If it’s for 1 play because his helmet came off (which is explicitly what the tweet says) that’s moronic. So par for the course regarding personnel decisions under Butch.

There has been virtually no players come to Butches defense on social media in months. It's very telling imo

First off Butch has done these things. Second, you're basically saying that someone did not do something unless they formally got caught or reprimanded.

Go ask a few players if Butch has ever hit a player before you speak. please.

If this is for a lost helmet situation why would we not just run 1 play in the wildcat with Kelly? All Mcbride would do is hand the ball off anyways, this seems really careless burning a redshirt for 1 or 2 snaps.

Also I am not saying one has to be "caught" or "reprimanded" but seriously everyone has a camera in their pocket this isn't 1980.

The good news today is that those people crazy enough to think CBJ has any chanceto come back next year should find comfort in Antone resigning. That is a definite sign of where we are right now.

Let me start off by saying- from what I've seen- hard to condemn Butch too much for this. Additional info may come out.

That said, This is the type of unintended consequence for taking half measures- i.e. not going ahead and letting Butch go. Nobody wants or wanted to deal with this. Decisive action may have prevented it from blowing up.

I don't know anything about specific facts, news, or claim to be some anonymous source that yall get off to. It's pretty easy to gauge the general feel of a team towards their coach and his actions though. You do this thing called asking the players you go to school with. try it.

Can't believe I'm chiming in on this lol. My take is pure speculation like everyone else, but, it's hard for me to believe Wells didn't know something was up. I could possibly believe Butch didn't know, but that's speculative too because he MAY have known.

Also could be because he is tired of all the friggin rumors that never stop, sees the writing on the wall and just decided the time was right to exit stage left.
