A lot of these are not witch hunts... some people on here look for these super secret elite sources when most kids around the team and the school will talk about this stuff openly. Crowder was definitely not a witch hunt, neither is this.

Because I trust the free press and am capable of seeing that people around Knoxville are trying to get this story out because of the severity of it. Butch played a guy with a concussion. He put BK’s health on the line for a football game. He should be fired for that.

He's getting fired regardless.

This doesn't really impact him big picture wise. My guess is that Wells gets put on leave. We carry on. CBJ gets fired sometime between now and the end of the season.

More on wells here. Position coach is in charge of in game subs not Butch. Butch decides who maybe shouldn't play before game not in game. This is on Wells for peer pressure Kendrick into not going to medical staff and Kendrick should have went anyway if he was that bad.

Nope. That stuff with Crowder was true. Remember that Cincinnati player who came out and said he saw Butch hit players there consistently?

I've also heard a rumor Butch put his hand around a player's throat in the football cafeteria.

You just don't get it. You are saying that because Kendrick was concussed, then Butch had to know? Do you not understand how that is making an assumption?

That’s fair. I still look to butch as the “caretaker of Tennessee football” and he did a 💩tier job of it. His negligence left BK in a nightmare scenario. Concussions are a serious injury that require immediate medical attention and the fact that he was still out on the field at risk of sustaining more damage is inexcusable.

In today’s game coaches should put a premium on player safety specifically when it comes to head injuries. That’s my opinion and butch failed miserably. Guess I’m an ass for wanting to fire a guy that risked a young man’s mental health

Seems like he has been doing something. Met with family yesterday. Releases statement today. meeting with them again.

Maybe the Currie/Butch argument really did happen yesterday

I’m saying that butch should have noticed kendrick was concussed. His teammates noticed. Why didn’t he?
