Damn....been catching up, what did I learn?
BJ played Kendrick knowing there was a head injury......fire with cause = save buy out
Saving buy out + public shame = Davenport and her admin loves athletics money but thinks admin trumps athletics finally steps out of the way? Haslam is a ? With money
Hawk is a beastly analytic with writing skills moving to ETN needing a job.
GrudeAwakenkng got a GrudeAwakenking from the peckerheads but I do believe he meant well
I know JJs dad he's a state trooper or was haven't heard or seen not awhile
Hutch7 or Hutch 7 could have the goods or is an imposter from VQ I don't know which hope he's real.
Tomorrow should be an exciting informational day with the smoke clearing a bit and we should have an interim coach named and possibly our man named as HC....not holding breath.
So I will take my pecker to bed for now and stfu and gtfo
Have a Gruden and
BUENOS GRUDOS

If you guys need help (for speculation purposes only) then think about the types of things (early stage) VC firms invest in? They are not funding growth stage or beyond companies rather they are usually funding IP born out of PHD research that is inherently defensible. When money is being funneled into these sectors it increases demand for more researchers and over the long term improves a University’s ranking. Which stakeholder in this Gruden deal would benefit the most from this dynamic?

Again this is not my nugget but only food for speculation.

Hmmmm - that could actually benefit more than one stakeholder...

Agree. As a current grad student, rankings are everything to the school. They live and die off of rankings, especially research and a few prestigious specialized programs (MBA, Law, etc.).

Just as we have our sights set on UT being a top 10/5/1 (however high you want to raise that bar) football program, so does the academic side have their sights set on being a top 25 university across the board.

If the Academic side can take advantage the public disdain of the football program to also obtain significant financial support for the research side, they would be more than on board with the decision. This would help the school's academic rep and bump their resumes quite well. In a sense, it would be career negligence for them to not take that deal.

I have no idea what specific programs would be funded, or if would just be a pot for the general research fund, but all the talk about Kaldor Hicks economic efficiency theory makes sense if you think about it in that light.

If this is on the table, I can see why you're so confident. They won't pass that up.

All of the pieces of the puzzle are fitting together lightly....had to take notes but this is the perfect storm for Gruden actually becoming CJG on the Hill.
