Frost is reportedly Florida's No. 1 target. So I could see Nebraska coming in big.

Huskerboard has a Scott Frost MegaThread sort of like our Gruden threads only not nearly as active. Still, I think I read it is the 3rd most active thread in board history.

You guys need to listen carefully... What I know is, Riley is gone after this season. Moos' interviews are little clues for you guys. Does he need to spell it out for you? I can confidently say, not one of you are as close to this situation as I am. You guys have to let Riley finish his career before be retires and stop worrying Scott Frost is going to Florida, or Tennessee or UCLA or any Power 5 school for that matter. You have to be aware and acknowledge, there ARE those of us who ARE close to former players, coaches, and also the current AD that roam this board.

And we know some things, we just can't spill all the damn beans out to you. All I can say is, the fan base has to chill out those who are pro Scott and those who are anti Riley. There are things happening that many of you don't understand and how the process works.

I'm not an insider but I believe there was a meeting scheduled and Jim Haslam nixed it. So maybe JAV was technically wrong but his information wasn't. It changed at the last minute.

Guys imo this is sooo much simpler than we try to make it.

On Saturday/Sunday fans and Boosters wanted blood.
From Currie's methodical perspective he would go from a known issue to an unknown one, and actual questions about his search.
Currie makes his case Sunday to Jim or whomever and wins, thereby retaining Butch
Kendrick deal is relatively unknown on Sunday/Monday as Currie begins his press tour to quiet mob while he continues his vetting.

By Tuesday the Kendrick deal is full blown and tips scales (potentially) against Butch as being more "headaches" than Currie wants.

Big Jim does not have to be the devil in every UT story book.

If Nebraska scoops us on Frost, Florida and Tennessee are going to be scrambling like their butts are on fire to see who is going to be relevant for the next 5 years. Pickings are going to slimmer and riskier

Yeah we wouldn't do that and I wouldn't want us to. We go with 10m for Gruden, Nebraska goes with 6m+ for Frost, and Florida - well, who do they love that loves them?

I think Frost is around a 4m guy on the open market but Nebraska for unique reasons may want to take him off the market. Who else would offer Gruden 10m if that is what we have done?

Apparently other reporters are now supporting the Kendrick news which would support a fight between Currie and Butch.

Ex:
Currie: He's saying he told you personally he was woozy, but you played him?
Butch: yea he said he was woozy, but he looked ok.
Currie: Do you have to blow the fourth quarter of your firing too?
Butch: I don't appreciate the eye discipline you are giving me right now.

I just don't see a power 5 school taking a chance on him that quick. Not to say he'll never be at another power 5 school but after all the media about his quotes and cliches I think he'll coach at a lower tier school for a while. JMO
