Gotcha, i know someone who works with his dad so there is two of us in here that could verify that but don't look like he's answering.

My one hypothesis to add is on the area you set aside. I believe VC applies to a different company that I will not discuss or name. IMO it is simply an investment vehicle and would just be a cash source for these dealings. I believe Castor connection is not directly about Castor itself but the parent org (Alumni Ventures Group) allowing UT's alumni to form a UT booster slush fund of their own. Again a cash source and a way to solidify the position of several important boosters.

Thank you..my greatest fear wasn't if I was wrong..it's if I was crazy.

Haha definitely not crazy. I would guess you aren't too far off of what's really been going on behind the scenes. I don't want to jinx anything but my gut has a good feeling about this. And I'm a pessimist. I think if the perfect storm happens with these meetings and Butch possibly being fired with cause, we could potentially see a hire and fire situation as soon as early next week.

Not sure how much I believe those rumours though. I flew through this thread trying to catch up and I didn't see any concrete validation that they were true, but I may have missed something.
