I’m not afraid to say my sources because at a young age I was basically a father figure in his life I will never lose best friendship/ brother with him if his step dad gets pissed at him. But the more you push it, he may cut him off from info which would cut me off, but I’ll never lose that friend because of what we went through together. So have it haters

Imo JJ should be on the sidelines supporting his teammates. I don't think he would be doing rehab during games

I really hope you guys hold Beaver accountable when this BS doesn’t happen. And I don’t want to hear the “well, the deal was done, then this happened” angle either.

This so much reminds me of when it was reported a few years back that Gruden was going to take over HC duties for the Raiders. It all made sense. Al Davis had passed and his son Mark has always had a man crush on Gruden. It was actually reported by a friend of mine named Hub Arkush, who is the editor of Pro Football Weekly. He had said it was a "done deal" that Gruden was going back to the Raiders. Never happened. Hub claimed he had the "sources" in place and was 99.9% sure it was going down. That (and many other things) have always made me wary of this "sure thing" when it comes to Gruden. I do hope like heck this "done deal" this time isn't BS.

I can handle the disappointment...but I will feel really bad for the rest of you who are now so emotionally invested in Gruden now...that anything else will be a huge letdown.

If it isn't Gruden...and the reason is becuz of some 87 year old jagbag booster?... then that will be totally unacceptable and we should by no means let the administration at UT off the hook for being so gutless.

Let's hope for the best...as it seems something "might" actually be going down.

Here is the thing. People want to believe you. However, using all caps, using terms such as “I don’t play this crap” is throwing everyone off. If you are a 32 year old business owner with 4 children it’s unlikely you carry yourself as the 18-21 year old you’re currently putting on display now. Maybe it’s late and maybe it’s your caffeine intake as one other poster suggested. Deep breaths buddy.

Essentially, he is best friends with Jennings. Jennings hasn't quit, he is just working is butt off behind the scenes to prep a comeback.

It's down to Gruden and Kelly. If Gruden falls through, Currie wants Kelly, but that would require some meeting with Davenport involved I think, due to an SEC rule towards show causes.

Apparently upper admin doesn't trust Davenport to handle the situation, so it's more of a reason to hunker down for Gruden.
