You did miss the most important question though (or I missed it)...

Does the rest of the board have the power and influence to go around/over Haslam? Pooled together, do their finances outweigh what he brings to the table? I'd assume the answer is yes, but when one is a major booster with a son as Governor of Tennessee, does the rest of the big wallet crew risk alienating those specific people?

So, the real question in all this is are they willing to take that chance. And right there is the brass tacks info and question that needs to be answered.
