IMHO, until Bev agrees to sign the Chancellor line of contract, nothing has been reached and yes I am fully aware certain individuals have posted that buyout is supposedly a non issue. The Chancelor is a player and a big player in this plot. I still however believe at the 11th hour contracts will be signed and feelings will get hurt and lines will be drawn but like you, that's simply my opinion !

I think this is what everybody is talking about when they mention "control." It seems to me that we have an AD, but he has not been delegated necessary authority to run his department. He has to run up the ladder for approval anytime there is a big decision.

Anybody who has held a job can see the problem with this scenario. It just leads to a lot of red tape that prevents anything from being accomplished.

Currie probably wants to fire Butch, like last month. But something or somebody is holding him back.

I just passed along what I saw. I'm not a troll or trying to be a buzzkill.

I want JG as much as all of you. Take what I posted as you will. It came from Twitter, not some inside source.

I know the blood in the water mentality, it's rabid in here. Just passing along what I saw.

It was fine for you to post it, no issue there. You're not the one who made it up.

Thank you. You may have just provided a significant puzzle piece.

Not a problem. I had guys come up to me at work before and after the sc game tell me they seen gruden jogging with a young kid around the frat houses. I tried to see if it was him. But by the time I went around they disappeared

The company that won the bid is a company called JLL. They say our gov privately owns a small portion of them. But they could have not counted the athletic facilities I’ll have to check my emails and see if anything with athletics is involved. But what we was told was that athletics was involved

Jones Lang La Salle. They have contract with Duke Power.

It would be any building owned by the state. Haslem has stock in JLL. The contract, if it had went through, was big money.

Rumors that it takes money away from Haslam as supposedly he has some involvement with the company that would get hired for facilities management.

Supposedly Haslems are either part owners or have business connections with the owners. Many news stations wrote about it when contract was award I’m sire you can find it.

IF they went with outsourcing the company was already picked. The state entered a contract with them and the one company is who every university would have had to use.

It happens all the time. The "insider" bidding so to speak. For example, at Oklahoma State you have the Express Club level:

Oklahoma State University Athletics - Club Level & Skylofts

Which happens to be named that because of this company:

Jobs – Staffing Companies - Express Employment Professionals

Owned by this man:

Robert A. Funk - Wikipedia

Who generously donates a hoop of money to OSU and built the new club level at Boone Pickens Stadium. And in turn, game day staffing, at least a large portion of it, is contracted to...

Express Professionals.

Tell me there isn't a conflict of interest there. Same thing happens at OU to an extent with another company. But the point being is it happens all the time at major universities.

That's awesome! By chance do you know how many folks are employeed as facilities management?
