Please stop. Who said anything about being better than other people? I said the tickets cost a lot, I was going to use them, and I resented certain people telling me I shouldn't, particularly people who have donated nothing to society or the university.

You want to pick at every single word he says instead of reading his entire posts and understanding what he is saying. He has contended this entire time that the boosters had a deal with gruden, a deal that has to be signed off by the University and that the boosters put in their lap. I know what a deal is, I work in acquisitions and contracts, but he has been saying the whole time that this deal is something the university cant get in the way of.

It’s a proposal, and the boosters are allegedly threatening to cease funding if said proposal isn’t signed. I get it. I don’t necessarily believe it, but I get it.

You are exactly right. We can hear all sort of stuff. It has been repeatedly said the AD is tight lipped and very few are in his inner circle. We won't hear any solid information while we still have a HC. I know he's been told. The fact is, he's coaching this week and the AD supports him.

When the announcement is made that he's fired, we will hear more solid information.

Agreed. I'm in here mainly for the fun posters. The gifs are great too. If it happens it's icing on the fun cake. I don't think anyone should be outing MIT's identity. That's not cool. But no reason to get mad if some of us think he's full of it either.

I was really asking for clarification when I upset him, but when I got that, it made sense and I am good...... besides, I never understand why people can't get that this IS after all a message board full of opinions
