I’m still 30 pages behind as I had to actually get some work done today. I have tabs open on my iPad for all the relevant people I feel the need to follow as a quick update. I could have sworn it was vol445 that said that yet I don’t see it in his post history any longer.

Maybe I was wrong on it being him but I was perplexed by that statement. I’m still not quite sure what that meant. The obvious to me thought he Bush family may have helped out but I’m grasping.

No. Thank the beans. Thank the scarabBEANS.

So.....any chance with all the concussion info being pushed this afternoon that this could possibly be their “cause” to get rid of Butch?

Just going out on a limb.

Did he even have a concussion?

The line coach would be involved first.

Did CBJ know?

Did CBJ over ride the medical staff?

OKAY, LET'S SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL ...
IS HASLEM ON BOARD WITH THIS OR NOT?

it's been asked on and off all day by myself and others ... conflicting info ... let's just setle it now.

inquiring minds and all ...

I was told that the boosters were unified in seeking one candidate. I wasn't told who it was. I was further told that the boosters were not unified at all if the one candidate fell through. That one of the people they weren't unified about, for instance was Chip Kelly. Some were for him and some were not. This from someone who had worked directly with and for Haslam for a long time and was an employee in 2012 but has since retired.

Seems like I struck a nerve with some folks in the AD with the plane comments. There are many levers we can and will pull to apply pressure. Incompetence nor Egos will get in the way of Gruden becoming our next Head Coach.

So is the deal done or not?

That is the multi-million dollar question. If there isnt at least a memorandum of understanding between UT and Gruden then that is ok but if the deal is done it is done.

If not then I am hopeful that it is headed in the direction of an MOU.

Are you referring to the current situation here?

Mood seems somber in here. Hope I didn't miss too much. Saw the Beav tweet. That seemed a bit trollish. Never been sold on him to begin with though.

Ok. Goat and Sam were pretty much the show for a while, then someone else joined in. I thought it might have been you. But Goat and Sam called him kid for a while. They seemed to hit it off. Then the night crew thread started up. Oh well.

I was the third member or so, and they may have, but I don’t recall.

Not

Yes, the current situation, at least as of a few weeks ago was that the boosters were well unified for the "top" candidate but split on others. Chip Kelly specifically was mentioned to me as a candidate that some would accept and some were absolutely against. His name is the only one that was mentioned at all to me.
