Just a couple of honest thoughts...JMO, IMHO, 10/31 is when the Corona Contest ends which is probably the end of Grudens commitment. Also, the betting line closes for the offshore betting of the next coach at UT.

I'm curious what happens to the lines tomorrow at noon.

what's is gonna cost again?
that ... that's what i'd pay.

Omg I really want to hear more about this. Off topic and I'm just catching up. But I'm DT's biggest fanboy. Lol. Actually got my guitar signed by him when he came to Little Rock with TTB on their first tour. Never got to see DTB though!

He was just a kid although he might have been a little older than 15. My brother saw him there several years before I did. I'm sure you've heard the stories about how he would have to sit outside of bars until time to play because he was too young to be there. He used to play flamingos a bunch before he joined ABB.

Ok so quick question I read somewhere that none of the other coaches wants to be the interim head coach

So why would none of them want to do that? Too loyal to Butch or is it something else?

Would you want the losses from his craptastic system attached to your name as interim head coach?

If we do somehow land gruden, I hope this fan base comes to reality and understands he can’t get us back in the top 5 overnight. Sure he would be better than BJ but so would the waterboy. He would still need some time to get his system in place and build but it would be one helluva ride

Are we posting rasslers now? Semi related, UT was Butch's cup of coffee and this is coked up hilarity.

For Gruden?

My first offer would be in the 7-8 million range.

If he wants to go higher, I’ll bump it up in the 9-10 million range.

Anything higher than that, would be really risky considering he’s never been a college coach.
You have a BILLION dollars you would need minimal return to cover that.

That is where this loyal fan base turns into a negative. So many continue to show up for games despite the pathetic product on the field. They can look at the revenue from the last decade and decide fans will continue to come.

But that's changing now as we watch. It will be gradual at first, then it will be quick. If you pay attention you can see a little of it now. It's the beginning. Also, if the boosters are calling their bluff, they'll lose that money, which they don't want to do either.
