Official Jon Gruden Thread XXV

The way I perceive this is that in KH one side can agree to a value loss so long as another party who is improved by the change contributes to improve on the value reduced party.

In concrete terms: (pure hypothetical) If the Gruden side (boosters) needs to change the school schedule in order to satisfy some demand, then the academic side lose value (an inefficiency). However, if Peyton could come in and offer enough value (somehow) then the academic side may absorb the value loss from schedule change in order to improve their position in net value (a new lab, books, equipment, etc.).

The wiki bit about something not happening is ultimately a stretch here. That equivalent in the above hypothetical would be Peyton's non-performance of an agreed upon duty.

The non performance is what I was getting at. It's variable. It can be estimated to a degree of certainty based on who he is and the value he provides. However, the fact is it is a human performance factor..that could always have an unexpected change in returns.

If that is the case, I say it is just another sign that Gruden is coming. If not, why would one of them not want to at least try and peak interests on their potential head coaching ability and to win out...then maybe get a look from other teams? Just a thought.

The staff along with the team has been split for a while. The divide has become too big for all of the assistants to follow one of the other assistants for the rest of the season. Younger players fighting with older players. Have you noticed the number of younger players getting PT and starting now?

Ah, Basilio and Vol Colonel. The UT version of “Coast to Coast with Art Bell”.

Except less plausible or connected to reality.

Let’s break it down. A fan makes up very damaging rumors to hurt CBJ and create turmoil. Large portion of fan base now believes rumor. Those fans then tweet as it’s true and rumor (Lie) begins to spread causing additional toxic environment.

Fan base.

Social media mob.

Ok I'm not an insider just passing along a text I got.

"So I had dinner with one of the university's biggest boosters two Saturdays ago. At dinner we discussed the dumpster fire that is Tn football. This gentleman said he and Mr. Haslam had a meeting with the AD and agreed that money shouldn't be the caveat to keep us from getting the coach we need. They agreed on a budget upwards of 10 mil. The current offer is 7.5 mil. Normally I don't buy into this but a local high school coach that Gruden roomed with in college received a call from him asking if he would be interested in a position as the high school liaison. Looks pretty good"

He said this info came out as the line moved to 2-1

I don't understand why Butch is still our HC. I want Gruden as bad as anyone.
I don't believe in not supporting our team. Only my opinion. I'll be there.

I hear ya and been going to the hill since 1983 but I can't take it anymore. A game takes up my entire weekend and UT ain't getting another penny from my family until we get the real deal coach that the player's and fans deserve.

Be watching the games at home until further notice.

Thought I'd never say it but... I'd take Kiffen back at this point :cray:
