I was catching up from page 348 and apparently missed all the fun. Someone please give me the cliffnotes version from then to this page. And by all means be civil.

Well, I missed most of it in the OR this morning but this is the best I can figure. There were several insiders that were 100% certain that Butch had been or would be fired. Some of them made predictions about the timing being today or tomorrow; some did not.

Butch came out and gave a normal press conference as if nothing was wrong at all and the wheels basically came off the bus at that point. There were some that called the insiders FOS and some of the insiders got angry and left; some apparently have decided to stick around.

There was apparently an internet bad ass show down and someone threatened to go to someone’s house or something like that.

In summary, no one knows when Butch Jones is going to be fired or if he will finish out the end of the season. I can’t even begin to tell you where were at on Gruden. I’m no GrandVol or anything but that about covers it I think.

In my opinion as well.

I bet Butch's buyout that was reached a couple of weeks ago left an open timeframe so that he could be let go at just the right moment. The info that docvol got was probably that they had reached the right moment. We all saw the ball starting down the hill yesterday. I think it was due to the assistant coaches having an issue.

My only concern is since when do quibbles by assistant coaches who will not be retained (most likely) after the season drive timelines for a decision that is literally rocking your fan base

• We have talent to work with (unlike 2012)
• Deafening silence from the AD
• Who is saying no and who is saying yes.

If you want Jones gone thats what the stands should look like for all four quarters this Saturday. If they arent Jones will be here till LSU. Thats what they are waiting on guys. AS long as the fans keep showing up for this **** show Jones will be our coach.

That sucks for those kids out there working their bits off to get into a game with the crowd behind them.
