I’m starting to think Currie is on here refreshing this thread for the latest rumors and just hoping they are true like the rest of us....

Actually, I would like to revise my previous statement. Tennessee lost to Kentucky.

Kentucky...

That's like coming home after a 30 round, no rules cage match with a steel toothed Mike Tyson and finding your girlfriend getting gang banged by a Village People cover band, seeing a letter from the IRS saying you're being audited and your cell phone rings with a call from your ex- wife's lawyer.

It's Kentucky...

DTO posted late last night that Butch was done. Not just beaver and Doc. He received a text that said as much. It is still early in the day and the BJS was recorded last night. I’m patient until noon tomorrow. If Butch walks out to do a weekly presser, I’m done.

Gave you guys the info that I’m 100% happened the way I gave it to you. Butch’s buyout and terms were absolutely decided and signed off on. Didn’t (and won’t speculate) on anything else (potential coaches, “done deals”,...) Bc I don’t have info on that this go around.

I’ve been pretty calm Bc I’m confident in him reaching a buyout—100%, that did happen—but , if we go Sunday and Monday and CBJ is still here, it makes me think something is really wrong.

I said previously it seemed like they were waiting on something else before letting Butch walk away. Didn’t claim to know what that was. But, if Sunday and Monday come and he’s still here, there’s something wrong, IMO. And that’s the point I stop being calm and patient, personally. Don’t know how else to say it.

When was the last time a statement came out from the AD about the football program? And Gruden has to know all the rumors about him, his son has to hear it everyday I would think. The silence is driving me nuts.

Butch is definitely done. I don’t think any of us really disagree on that. The sticking point everyone is trying to figure out is why Currie is waiting.

Previously, it was a buyout issue. But that has been resolved, decided, agreed to, and signed on. So it question is what happened or why Currie isn’t pulling the plug.

Still holding onto today or tomorrow the other shoe falls.

Silence can mean many things but in this case it means "We have no idea wtf we are going to do".

Yes... It is exactly what happened the last time.... BUT we need to start being realistic... when someone comes in here with brash statement (that we do not know) declaring 100% done.... we need to hold them to it.

NO ONE BUT MIT has done that...We need to stop feeding off of his outlandish promises and start looking at facts. Here are the facts that I see:

1. We have been told Butch is done
2. We have been told Gruden is in play (or at least was)
3. We have been told money nor control is not a problem
4. We have been told Gruden is moving to Knoxville

these things I believe... BUT THAT IS ALL I believe.. the rest is simply HYPE and speculation
