Why would Mullen seem less realistic as the days go by? Actually, the longer it goes, the longer it makes me think they are targeting currently active head coaches as they wouldn't not be able to have contact with them officially until the end of the regular season anyway. Whereas if it were Kelly or Gruden, I wouldn't think there would as much of a reason to delay.

Same. Just wish we could hear some good news regarding Frost or Mullen. The sooner Jones is fired, the sooner we start hearing things I guess. I think we'll lose tomorrow night, and if we do, he really needs to be fired on Sunday or Monday.

Not posting this in Gruden thread just to get ridiculed and this happened today and is something I got today. If you remember when Martin left UT that I had info on a basketball coach and was very confident of interest but Martin wasn't gone yet. I was laughed at but then that coach did take another job and was looking. Timing wasn't right for UT.

That was real info I had that one time. I know some other folks who told me change was coming after Georgia game. Today from an unexpected source I was told this. First I was telling them not to laugh but I thought Gruden was a possibility. They said they were not laughing because the guy he knows said he is at the top of their list. Also, Butch is gone for sure so that is good. He said Chip Kelly was more like 4th or 5th. However, Frost is next after Gruden. Then he threw a curve. Charlie Strong is up there next. This guy that told me this has connections thru another sport in D1 everywhere. I believe him. TIWIW.

Don't want ecred. Good news is Jones is done and will not be back. Gruden is real and they are going after him so explains smoke but I don't think it's a done deal. Frost next. Not sure how I feel about Strong.

Multiple sources told the sports news site that 40 to 60 people including on-air talent and radio personalities may be sent packing. The layoffs could come as soon as late November or early December.

I’m no insider either but my family member in Florida keeps telling me he has a Tennessee connection that is confirming Gruden looking at property all around Knoxville and that he is interested. . So. It is interesting to follow. So many rumors. Still think chance is low but we will see!

Gruden odds in Vegas down to 2.5-1. Was 20-1 a week ago and slowly going down.

Beaver might have made a calculated guess and figured the odds for Gruden would go up if he could troll thousands of people on here. Thinking out loud here lol

They could be, but even if a small number of fans on this board are the only ones betting, it would not go down by that much. It takes somebody betting very large amounts of money, rather than a bunch of people betting small amounts of money. You'll see this a lot in scripted settings, likes bets on TV shows or wrasslin. People in the know shift the odds dramatically and it turns out to be true.

Very peculiar.
