Infractions should be handled the same way no matter when they occur so players understand the consequences of their actions. It's bush league to suspend players an entire game for a misdemeanor just because it made the news, when other players haven't missed PT. Suspend or don't suspend-- just be consistent about it. UT is becoming the poster school for how not to run a program.

Out of these 4 probable openings this year, what school with the right coach has the easiest path to the College Football Playoff?
Nah. You get in trouble during the season you are gonna be punished during the season. (Especially when it makes the news.)
You get in trouble in the offseason you get punished in the offseason.
This was an easy one to see coming.
Awesome, guy. Try not to kill anyone when you're driving f'ed up ok?
I'm with you, but you walk a slippery slope with that decision. If it gets ignored, you encourage it. It tells those immature kids that it's OK while it's quite illegal.
I want to win just as bad. That's why I think you suspend them for the half, not the whole game. Outside of the game, you make them do community service, run extra suicides, etc.
Ok missy, I have a clean driving record but I will watch out for you crossing the intersection in your rascal.
Of course there are a million to prove every point but:
A new study from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration finds that drivers who use marijuana are at a significantly lower risk for a crash than drivers who use alcohol. And after adjusting for age, gender, race and alcohol use, drivers who tested positive for marijuana were no more likely to crash than who had not used any drugs or alcohol prior to driving.
Marijuana is the illicit drug most frequently found in the blood of drivers who have been involved in vehicle crashes, including fatal ones.10 Two large European studies found that drivers with THC in their blood were roughly twice as likely to be culpable for a fatal crash than drivers who had not used drugs or alcohol.11,12 However, the role played by marijuana in crashes is often unclear because it can be detected in body fluids for days or even weeks after intoxication and because people frequently combine it with alcohol. Those involved in vehicle crashes with THC in their blood, particularly higher levels, are three to seven times more likely to be responsible for the incident than drivers who had not used drugs or alcohol
Agreed. The bottomline is that you just can't get mad at a cop for doing his/her job. I'm more pissed at the football players not doing theirs, which is to go to class, play hard, and stay out of trouble.
It's not hard. Just do your f@#$ing job.
Hes faster but he isnt JK. Tim Jordan has the same power/attitude as JK though. If butch were smart he would wear KY out with Jordan and then bring in chandler as the change of pace back to burn them for huge runs. But we will keep running the same 💩tier offense we have all year
Again, I think this is bush league. Inconsistent application of team rules and inconsistent treatment of players is one reason CBJ has lost so much respect.
