If it is after a win it must be presented as a resignation. No way UT takes the heat and hurts the replacement efforts by firing a guy after a win imo.

I agree. And on the other side of the equation, if it's a negotiated departure, I can't see Butch agreeing to get "fired" after a loss. He would want to look like the good guy for resigning. So, win or lose, he resigns.

With Saban in total control, it's going to be hard to sell a coach like Gruden on coming here. The competition will be stiff every step of the way. It's going to be tough to sell the SEC to anyone at this point.

Hopefully, Gruden will take the job.

Exactly why he would take the job!

Not afraid of competition!

Needs the challenge!

What Tennessee Needs!

I am on the case on Gruden’s House in Avila in Tampa — not currently listed for sale, but not unusual — we have a few multi-million dollar listings at my office that are “pocket listings” due to their high-profile owners.

I have a couple friends that I work with over in the Tampa market that I’ve talked to — they are both keeping their ears out to see if it becomes “available” — nothing yet.

My contractors are Windermere everyday working as we install high-end kitchen appliances for Best Buy. There's some big boy homes in Windermere. Does Shaq and Tiger still have their places in Windermere or did they both sell?

From TOS:

"This has nothing in particular to do with Gruden but still an interesting bit of info. Apparently Monday evening of this week Butch Jones and Barb signed with a realtor from Alliance Sotheby's to list their Knoxville home on Oakleigh Way. I have a few friends in real estate in the Knoxville area, so I'm trying to see if they can get me screenshots off of the MLS to post if it's up there yet."

There's no way the house listing will go up on MLS before his resignation or firing.
