These are good points. I believe what I said about Currie because of what Matthews said. But I believe Blackburn cares about winning and that’s exactly why he wasn’t hired. They want someone they can control and at this point it sure seems like they have him.

Well if they are controlling him, seems redundant to keep accusing him of being the problem.
You either believe the boosters are in control or not.

You also said that you believe the Gruden rumors. If he/they have pulled that off, how can you claim them incompetent?

Maybe you are just wanting a target for the frustration?

If Butch loses to UK, which a handful of you do not believe is possible, will you concede that there should be a firing on Sunday and possibly should have been as far back as UGA? By all appearances we are going to lose Saturday night. In all deference to Louisville, this is UK's game of the year, especially as it applies to an SEC opponent.

Where's the logic in firing coaches after a L to UK? Lose to UK for only the 2nd time in 32 years and the season is over. It won't matter who coaches then. The damage will be done.

I just want to say my peace on the CBJ situation real quick. Then I will go back to reading all the information you all bring.

We are all obviously very passionate about our love for UT athletics. But I feel like the amount of harsh criticism Butch has received lately is a little overboard. His time here has not turned out like we had hoped. But, I for one, will say thank you to Butch for giving 110% effort on trying his ass off to make Tennessee great again.

Has he made mistakes? Undoubtedly. But the man is a quality person and has been a great ambassador for the program. I, like everyone else, despise his clichè phrases and in game coaching. But I think some of us need to get back to reality and realize that although he loses football games, he still deserves some sort of respect for what he has done.

Sorry it didn't work out here CBJ. Hope nothing but the best for you in your future endeavours.

It does no good to fire him at the moment. Our next coach is still coaching football most likely. Will be end of season IMO.

Just curious- do you guys think Kelly abstains from marijuana with an interim coach? I don't think the head coach has anything to do with that.

Apparently ticked off a booster and got fired. Which is exactly the same thing that would have happened here had he tried to go against them.

So all the decisions would have been exactly the same or he would have been fired anyway.
