If you pull them up, especially on mobile, all you get is the static image. You need to find the original underlying URL and use that.

If you're on an iPhone just use google images and when you find the gif you like click on it and then press and hold till you can copy, that will give you the correct url that you need

There's something fishy about the Vol Nugs operation. Twitter account and web page spun up within the last few weeks. It's really good at one thing... creating misinformation. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the UTAD was behind this operation to help keep the confusion and misdirection at the forefront of social media during this whole process.
