Work/sleep/church/lunch/sleep and now homework so been out of the loop 24+ hours

what's the latest on CJG currently? In a nutshell. ?/10.

Thks

Bump 'cuz really hopeful for some Grude news before I retire for the evening.

I need some #Soon in my Sunday night

Im afraid it is really 1998 and I’ve been injured celebrating the national championship and I’m currently in a coma and my mind is trapped in this alternative reality with guys like Derek Dooley and Butch Jones and I keep hearing the word individuals over and over. What I’m in is a nightmare like an UT version of the ‘one’ Metallica video.

I say we don't give Gruden a choice. Just announce him as our new coach, then start making him feel guilty for abandoning his players. We'll get the players to do videos asking "what they did wrong?" and begging him to come back. It'll pull at the heart strings.

If he was told by boosters it was Gruden or else, since he has a job thanks to them, Gruden would become options 1, 2 and 3 even if he didn’t personally want Gruden. How many bosses are secure enough to Bring in a rock star that immediately runs the place. He would never in a real sense be Jon grudens boss

That’s just a guess but the way I could see it being.

Currie would be hailed as a HERO if he brought in Gruden no matter what. Heck Vol fans would chip in and have a statue built of Currie and Gruden. Heck they can put one up of Haslem and I wouldn't care. If I was Currie I would rather be known as the AD that got Gruden than the AD the got a weak coach and it failed. He gets Gruden and no matter what happens most sane Vol fans aren't blaming Currie. It's hard enough to win, at least go down swinging. At the worst the revenues you make having got Gruden plus the talent he will have stockpiled would be nothing to sneeze at. SOON!!!! GBO!!!! VFL!!!!!

The last thing I heard was that Haslam offered to pay for Butches entire buyout to get Gruden the job.

But... The AA must change their ways an offer Gruden Saban type or more money to get him to buy in and the aa vs the ad department warfare most stop.

It's the same deal that Bama went threw before Saban would commit and it took 3 months to get the job done before Saban would sign.

This is a power struggle of the highest degree and the AA could careless about the tradition or the fan base.

It's going to take all of Ut's big time booster's to come together and show the AA, who's the boss and threaten the cut the AA off at the knee's to get the job done.

If this thing crumbles and we have to go with another unproven small time coach again, then the program has been lost for good.

We have the facilities / fan base and there is no reason that the program has dropped to the absolute bottom of the SEC. We could have and should have been dominating the East for years and this is a national embarrassment.

As a Vols fan... You never lose to UK or Vandy... in football, period.

wish i had more likes to give you

Didn't know Peyton lives in a Thunder Thornton development. Maybe him being a player in this search means Thunder brought him in to help. Thunder also built a Greg Norman golf course in Loudon county.
