If he goes 8-4 imo he gets next year unless you get a Kelly or a gruden

I appreciate what Coach Jones has done for the program, but this season has made it painfully obvious that he has some severe limitations. If he somehow stumbles to 8-4, I hope they help him get a job elsewhere and call it a mutual parting of ways. I think it's a moot point though because 8-4 is extremely unlikely.

A redshirt Frshaman has been in the program 4 years??????????? Lmao youre a dumbass

Having a R-FR QB is not an excuse. Plenty of teams rolling with guys who have been in the program 2 years or less.

The issue is he hasn’t been properly prepared by the staff and they don’t call plays in order to make him successful.

Well... we thought Butch might play loose with nothing to lose, but of course not. JG averaged 2.8 ypc. Terrible. He doesn’t care anymore

Exactly. Fuente is 6-1 with a redshirt freshman QB. UCF is undefeated with a sophomore QB. UGA is undefeated with a true freshman QB. Having a young QB isn’t a good enough excuse.

Who lost his starting qb, top 2 HB, top 2 recievers. The offense is going to suck you can't expect the offense to hum along like these guys are 3rd and 4th year starters

126th?

You realize UGA is starting a true freshman at QB right? UF is playing musical chairs at QB. SCe has a second year guy with about 10 starts if that.

Sure. But how many recievers are we playing that have no experience. We have 1 HB that has any significant experience. There has been a new o line combo every week. A pretty much brand new offensive staff. There is no reason there shouldnt have been a step back this year.

All I'm trying to say with all of this is that fans expecting this offense to be like last years with basically a brand new set of guys with a brand new set of coaches is blind

How much experince do those guus have around them they are loaded around them. TN experince level is guys who dont even know the playbook and cant even run the correct routes.

He got thrown to the wolves because of a JUNIOR. C'mon now. No way he should be getting sacked that much for our experienced line either. Quit getting upset. Name calling is uncalled for.

If JG cant recognize the blitz and call the correct protection scheme its his. Its the qb job to id the mike

From Simonton..

* Tennessee’s 108 yards Saturday were its fewest in at least 28 years.

* During their touchdown draught, the Vols have gained 561 total yards in 14 quarters. Alabama had 604 yards on Saturday.

* Tennessee has been held under 150 yards twice already this season. That didn’t even happen during the lows of the 2008 season.

* Tennessee ranks last nationally in total offense among all Power 5 teams (289.7 yards per game).

* The Vols were 1 of 12 on third down against the Tide and are now the worst in the SEC in third down conversions.

* Tennessee hasn’t scored a red zone touchdown in four conference games this season.

* How badly does this team miss Josh Dobbs, Alvin Kamara and Josh Malone? The Vols finished in the Top 20 in the country last year on explosive plays (79 total of 20 yards or more). They have just 19 such snaps all season — good for No. 126 nationally.

A step back is expected.

The worst offense out of all power 5 teams is not.

Also, a reason these guys have little to no experience is a direct result of piss poor coaching the previous 4 years. Teams we should smash we are going deep into the 4th with, and our backups are getting zero experience.
