Yes UGA upgraded but what was their record last year? Didnt they lose to their 3 biggest rivals last year. I think this year is a rebuilding year and next year is the year that should be put up or shut up. That will be twice in three years he has failed with an experienced team. 8 wins this year 10 next year

This was actually my thinking before the year started. But after seeing him "coach" away a win in Gainesville and the other regressions this year, I think it's obvious that Dobbs carried his pee wee league offense and that Jones is done. Next man up.

Some say he may be done as a head coach. It took a lot out of him here. He, Honestly gave his all. It didn't translate on the field but he isn't deserving of some of the critisim. He doesn't need to be ran outta town but he doesn't deserve a parade neither.

I agree I think he wants out but I think its because of the fans, 8-4 was realistic this year and that is what may happen and fans are all over him. Last year he had a record number of injuries and was expected to beat Bama with backups. Imo us as fans are being a bit unrealistic

Thats why in my original post I said he should have been fired last year or wait until next. You dont fire a coach after a rebuilding unless he has a losing season not and especially not when he still has a chance to meet expectations

We aren't going 8-4. This team is terrible due to lack of development and poor coaching.

Expecting more than 8-4 in year five when you still haven't won more than 8 regular season games at Tennessee is not unrealistic. 8-4 should be a down year at Tennessee.
