Edit: They're could be two different Chris Erdgen's with high ranking roles at Dish, I just assumed it was his son, Christopher, but I'm not 100 percent sure on this one.

Edit: It most definetly is his son. A Denver newspaper wrote a story on it. Bubba brought up mention of a VC company earlier, that's why I thought this was worth sharing.

I'll put it this way. Currie helped get a hall of fame coach fired in his last stint here because we weren't getting it done. I can assure you that if he would do that to Phil, then he will sure as hell do it to Butch Jones. People need to understand, it's not just you're fired. There's a lot that goes into a program and contracts that we have no idea about. The key is making sure you contact the right people and when a change is made, you have someone closed to being lined up. He's got to make the best decision for the PROGRAM (recruiting, money,contracts, etc...)as a whole and firing him today doesn't seem to be in the cards.

^This is why I think it will be the week of November 27...But hope it is sooner

There is no one at UT that understands the speed of destruction circa 2017..Recruits and brand are destroyed in days when it used to take a month or 2. Unless messaging changed and re-direct with "boom hire"..A generation may be lost..No hyperbole just 30 years of working in communications and marketing opinion. You can't deal and manage coaching hires with protocols that were effective 3-5 years ago..Major paradigm shift occurred. ....Cause and effect happen at light speed today. Have little faith this group adjusts to this fact
