I don’t care if the game is in Australia, he should’ve already been gone.

:lolabove:

I want him gone too, buddy. I'm to the point impish the season was over and we knew whom the new coach was going to be. I'm ready to turn to the next chapter of Tennessee football. I really don't give a crap what's in the rest of this chapter.

vols averaging 9 points a game in sec play.

Vols haven't scored more that 20 points since indiana state.

Vols offense is averaging 3 points per game over their last 3 games.

Vols hc has a background in offense.

Vols retuned all offensive linemen from 2016 team.

Vols hc has known since 2014 when dobbs became the starting qb that he would need to be replaced in 2017.

Vols hc let his 2016 oc leave for same position at indiana.

Vols hc had choice of bringing in high quality proven oc to run system fitted for qbs on the 2017 roster.

Vols hc instead promoted internally to oc a coach that had never called plays before so that the same system would remain in place.

Vols offense is arguably the worst it has ever been in the modern era.

All vols offensive problems are the result of decisions made by the vols hc.

Vols ad has not dismissed the hc.

Wtf is going on!?!?

this all day

I hate Currie and the whole lot of them. Any AD worth their salt would fire him. If he is on the sideline next year, I will not follow them ever again. Because I may not have many years on this life and I can spend time with my family doing other things and going to other college games and just not be invested. If this school which is flowing with football revenue outside of what the big boosters give extra just keeps shoving up our tails then they can clean up the mess when we blow it out and tell them to eat our shi that is the result. Currie looks like Hamilton in this just looking out for the accountant bottom line of money. They want our money and want us to like it. Screw you John Mike Hamilton Currie JR. I was afraid that is what we were getting with this stupid looking bozo. Fire him and quit being concerned with one million dollars when you have over 120 million in revenue.

Every day Butch is here, Currie is looking more and more like an idiot... no way to spin it. Shows the fans he does not have their interest at heart (the very ones who are funding all of this with revenue) right out of the gate. This is tarnishing his reputation, and he will not recover from this unless he hires a home run. Anything less and he will be looked at as a clown only looking at the bottom line on a financial spreadsheet.... The choice is clearly up to him now, and surely he realizes the position he's put himself in....

The only way Currie catches legitimate flak for all this is if this drags out to the end of the season and he can't get the right guy.

If he makes a big time hire the few extra weeks of patience will be forgotten.

Now that's the fit to be tied, jacket that I expected.

Bama: fired
GA: fired
LSU: Fired
Auburn: fired
Florida: fired
TA&M: fired

KY: wait
ARK: wait
VANDY: wait
MIZ: wait
OM: wait
MSU: wait

Which group does TN belong?

We belong with that bottom tier until we make a hire that's worth anything. All of the top tier would have already fired him. Ridiculous.

Meh I hate every second that he’s still our coach, but unless we’ve got someone who isn’t currently a HC on the hook, I can see Currie’s logic.

I don’t like it, but I can see it.

I was told Big Jim was the obstacle to Tennessee being great again. I think he's pulling the strings and not in a good way. He hired Currie, and Currie's doing what he's told.

Probably make that much on nachos per home game.

On the bright side if there is one, whoever the new coach is he may have some LBs to work with finally. If DKjr can get healthy then he, Bituli, and Sapp could be pretty darn good.

Big Jim can suck it twice at this point. And the Browns suck and always suck, so what would you expect from him.

Does it really matter whether or not he has someone on the hook already? It's inevitable that we're going to be looking for another head coach either way.

Big Jim needs to take a long walk off a short pier. Why do they care so much what the old man wants? He's one of the many big money boosters we have.

Just my opinion, and i'll admit myself that it sucks, but what we are dealing with is very wealthy people that didnt get that way by being loose with their money.

They will let it play out until he either makes a bowl or is eliminated from bowl eligibility.

Buyout reduces every game played. If he makes a bowl, they make money off of it, then let him go. If he doesnt make a bowl, buyout is reduced even more.
