Just curious..... Gruden asked for a certain salary for a job that he wasn't interested in taking because he doesn't want to coach football or he is afraid to fail at?

It was imperative that all the "sources" out there coordinate a message about Gruden expressing no interest at this point in time so that terms were kept. Blah blah blah...something like that.

Ok. Why do we need someone with a connection to the program? What were Saban’s connections to LSU or Bama? How about Urban and UF? What connection to OU did Bob Stoops have? How about Chris Petersen and UDUB? How about Pete Carroll and SC? I just want to Hire a good football coach. Who cares if he doesn’t have connections to UT.
