I can answer this as we are in the same boat.

Jeff Driskel and Jacoby Brisset left Florida and are in the NFL. Will Grier leads the NCAA in TD passes.

How did Nate Peterman do after leaving Tennessee? What about Riley Ferguson?

It's not the players

Yes, the bigger question is how in the world did Scott and Butch ever come to a conclusion that QD should start over JG in this offense.

How can we assess either of our QBs with the utter embarassment that is our OL?

That being said, I think JG is playing fairly well considering the beating he's having to take back there. He does seem to have a problem with holding onto the ball too long, but thats common with inexperienced QBs, especially ones with a little bit of running ability.

At least QD had a good 2nd half and OT vs Ga Tech, a decent 2nd half vs UF, and a good quarter vs Mass.

JG has not even finished a good drive. Unless there are changes made in play calling, the Vols will not win another game this year. JG cannot be successful as a pocket passer.

Entire offensive staff, minus Gillespie, is 100% wet garbage, set on fire. The offensive scheme is a joke, and I'll go on record and say that it will never be successful at a P5 program if Butch ever gets another chance to coach at this level.

As Pickens said we arent in Bama's league so it ddn't matter

JG is not awful but he cant catch up to the game.

QD was ahead of him but Butch got desperate.

One thing you guys forget is JG has been here and got the benefit of a redshirt.

QD blew 2 years taking a handful of snaps

We lost 3 NFL receivers and 2 NFL running backs from last years team. Wolfe being out till today hasnt helped either.

We will see if Butch lasts the week

What the hell was Dormady supposed to do? JG's results are worse than Dormady's.

Dormady was the vistim of a sorry offensive scheme, pathetic play calls and terrible coaching. Same as JG but no-one is calling for JG to lose his spot.

I'm watching the games. Especially the ones where we don't have a damn offensive TD and people still think we have the right QB. They have both been terrible so I put the blame on the OC and QB coach. They obviously have their collective heads up their butts.

ITS HIS SECOND START AND AGAINST THE BEST TEAM IN THE COUNTRY.

I actually think he did as well as could considering.
With some development I actually think he will be a great player.

People were calling for QDs head in the first half of his first start. So, who gives a damn if this is his second start?

Typical! Watch the entire game, and you might understand better where the blame goes.
