I could see it from Gruden's side mainly because I have know idea how many of his people would be in the loop. I just can't see repeated and legit leaks from Curries side without people being excommunicated.

If I had a small team negotiating a deal, the first leak from my side would result in someone being immediately booted from the team.

I agree. Only problem here is, the insiders aren’t tied to the Gruden side, I would presume. Only people that would be would probably not be posting here. So we are left with possible misinformation and “trolls”.

If he wants to have a long coaching career he won't even consider Nebraska. Recruiting there is impossible. He wouldn't be able to get any talent.

It's just hard to say with any certainty what is happening. I hope we land him. I could go ask my neighbor who knows every rich person in the state connected to UT and see what he says. I could then post it here with a caveat and some people would still run with it, some would shoot it down (as they probably should).

Yes, per JAV who is as legit as they come. He's not gonna troll, and he's not the kind of person to post something unless he knows it. If he doesn't know anything, he would either not post or would say he doesn't know anything.

And, no, there is no misinformation campaign. That's just an excuse for people who want to escape reality til the bitter end.

We won't know who the new guy is until he is announced. We can either debate a bidding war over frost, the merits of Dino, or start googling cheap obscure coaches and find us a bargain.....or we can continue to believe we will be relevant again. Maybe not Grude, but Kelly or another big time hire.

That said, I have a hard time believe Grude turned us down because he thinks he might fail. If that's the truth, then I don't think it would have worked anyways.

Totally agree. It’s more fun to think everyone knows something, but I think there a very few who do...if there is even much to know at this point. (Besides butch being out, because that much is obvious).
