It's fun to believe it might happen. Like waiting on a big snow when you were little. You choose to believe the weatherman that forecasts the biggest snow, knowing you might wake up disappointed.

Good morning everyone! I just caught up and I won't be around until this afternoon so I would really appreciate it if y'all would refrain from posting until then. Thanks in advance!

Here are my thoughts on the overnight posts:
-UTVolinExile and I are home-people. I'd say home-boys, but as you know, I'm a woman.

- Other than the line on Gruden dropping, the Beav has said nothing verifiable. And I don't think the line dropping proves a whole lot. If it went from 1000 to 200 in an hour, I'd say differently. Also, I don't feel that he has provided any evidence of location that is indisputable. I think he's chilling in Chattanooga.

-I applaud whoever that was that brought the info about state of Tennessee hiring procedures, and I don't dispute those things. I just believe for various reasons that Butch's severance date was last Tuesday-ish. The buyout agreement may have even included language allowing the negotiating going on while he was still acting as HC. Obviously it could be argued that he has been acting like a head coach for a while now, but still.

I didn't see anything else to speak of from overnight. Check ya later!

Edited to add: in fact, I think the Beav has given too much identifying info to actually be an insider.

Also, Gruden's son's last high school game is Nov 3rd which lines up with the "after Kentucky" stuff.

Nothing to do with anything but I laugh every time.

I'm not sure how a guy that golfs with some boosters would know so many detailed facts. That's why it's not believable to me.

I’ve seen his claims of money and such, but I haven’t seen him post any proof of anything. That’s why I responded to the other poster who said “everything he’s predicted has come true”. He’s literally predicted nothing except it’s a done deal with Geuden for x amount of money, Butch is gone, and Gruden is our new coach, which none have come true. He’s said enough to get a few to fall for it, but it’s no different than other “insiders”. If I’m wrong, I’ll gladly admit it, but I smell a job being done.

I wanna believe, but I just find a few people in here fishy.

I have a close business associate that is a decent size booster and plays golf with them all including Peyton. He knows very few facts. This is a guy who makes millions because he can rub elbows and sort out facts.

I agree, but wasn’t there pages discussing how everyone running to bet would do that?

Yes. I'm just saying that's the only verified nugget - wasn't saying it was any risky prediction on his part. I remain hopeful (even, dare I say, optimistic!) overall, but skeptical of him as a source.

Butch will show us if he knows today is his last by playing Jumper all day. At every position.

I'm not vouching for anyone but I can say that among trusted friends the duty of patient/client confidentiality isn't as rock solid as many people would like to believe. I assume insider football info is a similar thing.

And some poster learned how to post gifs. I may be missing some important info others will fill us in I'm sure.[/QUOTE]your sources are confirmed, well done my friend.

You know how people talk though on the golf course, lot of opinions, lot of "big boosters" or so called boosters trying to make themselves look bigger then they really are with some info they think will happen. In all honesty the guys that write the checks that count are use to dealing with high profile business deals that are tight lipped until it happens. And I don't think this will be any different. Last Gruden go around we had sightings at resturants, boosters who said it was a done deal, and nothing ever happened. Heck after it was over Gruden said he was never even contacted and I don't know what reason he would have to lie about it after the fact.

So because this guy posted on a message board he’s rich, we just believe it? I’m sincerely looking for proof, not a new guy “saying so”.

Good Morning all. Today is going to be a busy day for me, surely I won't be able to catch up with reading by days end. With that said, I'm still a little salty from the fiasco the other night and find that maybe I need to stop devoting so much time to reading everything, though, I'll check in many times during the day. Now to my thoughts... I find it odd when people show up out of nowhere, yet know very detailed information when it's pretty obvious that Currie is running a tight ship. I also find it troubling that all these discussions are taking place on golf courses. Not so much golf courses, but the most exclusive and most expensive around....I'll get to that point shortly. Then to bolster their stories, they throw in the fact they have expensive material things that surely bolster his or her story. Dear God with all of this flight talk, Grudens on UT's or Haslam's or any other number of "well known" jets. I don't believe for a minute that travel is being done on a well know plane, when something is being kept so quiet. Now I go back to my issue with the "expensive, exclusive golf courses." I know for a fact, the most serious detailed conversations are not handled on those golf courses. Ridgewood in Etowah TN, in the middle of nowhere, away from wealth and prying eyes is where it's at, it's a treasure trove of information if you're lucky enough to get a nugget. With all the talk of planes. I found it odd that this jet has not been brought up, although maybe it's not as well known if you don't live in the Cleveland or Athens area of TN. But Allan Jones lends his jet to UT at any given notice. I can't believe, they have not used that jet for top secret meeting places. After all, he has a football field on his property that is used by the entire football team. He's the check into cash plane flying over Neyland every Saturday home game. Choose to believe what I'm say or not, I won't lose any sleep over it. But I know some people on this thread will. There are maybe 5 people I really pay attention to in regards to info, all the others, well, some are fluff, others don't know yet. Posters should remember, be selective in what you post, build relationships and VolNation will love you for it. Hope your day is wonderfull....Go Vols!!

And Allan loves nothing more than to be a part of the cool crowd. And THAT is first hand information.

He really doesn't have to prove anything to us,he has said enough and if he is right we will find out pretty soon. If he is wrong you will never hear from him again.

MIT Bev is just like VolReporter in 2012. Pops up out of nowhere and gives to good to be true info and then will soon disappear........

If he's supposedly in Vegas with his POS BMW, please take a picture of your plate and todays Las Vegas Sun for verification.
