TJ Carter with two huge turnovers.
They start only 3 seniors on defense (one is a transfer). 5 of their front 7 are sophomores or freshmen with two freshmen at nose tackle. That's on top of losing 4 starters for the year (2 to dismissal). It's what we had to do the last 4 games last year.
I am not suggesting he is a great choice right now but if he wins his next 5 games he squarely puts himself into a high level up and comers. If he goes 3-2 he isn't a guy we need to consider but he has a lot of desirable things on that resume if he finishes strong.
Boom! #SargeforCoach
I have done pretty well in the Mississippi Youth Football Association. I have offensive and defensive experience. Ran a pro set offense with a lot of misdirection. And played a lot of man coverage on defense. I have also never met a blitz that I dont like.
Ive been a vol fan for almost 40 years. I swear to all thats holy if this hire gets screwed up it might push me over the edge on being a fan altogether.
Well, maybe not, I dont know, but I might fall in a really deep depression for the next 5 years.
He had some good offenses at Georgia but he's a Georgia grad so he's jumping to Athens as soon as he got the chance. (Hubbs said today Smart is not happy there right now.)
I don't really think what he's doing at CSU is all that impressive. Didn't McElwain have that thing rolling pretty well?
Anybody else get the feeling this is another smoke and mirrors ploy by the coaching staff? Me thinks Dormady is done at UT.
