I don't get the fun in hoping for something you know won't happen.

Millions of people hope they win the lottery and daydream about what it would be like to be fabulously wealthy, despite the fact that it will almost certainly never happen.

This is like that, but the odds of us getting Gruden are astronomically higher (though admittedly still quite long).

There is nothing that makes Bobo a good hire. Nothing promising, no hope whatsoever. Would be awful and I would hope the fans wouldn’t buy anymore tickets.

I'm fairly sure I said the exact same thing before Butch was hired so take that for what it's worth.

Haha! Mike Bobo is my favorite Volantion consensus "bottom of the barrel" coaching candidate of all time.

His hire would basically be a white flag from the university to the rest of the conference. "We surrender for the next 3-5 yrs!"

Huh? His defense was always going to be suspect this year. They were young to start with and have probably lost at least 5+ starters/contributors for the season. It puts stress on an offense.

If we had to go the G5 route after Frost, he would be the first one for me.

His defense has given up 27 or more in every game and his O has really struggled against UCF and Houston. Hard to spin that in a positive fashion. Maybe they turn this game around

He had some good offenses at Georgia but he's a Georgia grad so he's jumping to Athens as soon as he got the chance. (Hubbs said today Smart is not happy there right now.)

I don't really think what he's doing at CSU is all that impressive. Didn't McElwain have that thing rolling pretty well?

McElwain did well enough there to land the Florida gig, so it's not like Bobo pulled a Frost or anything.
