I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I talked with a booster and Rock is very frustrated and disappointed in Butch in year one-- said Rock said the players apparently know more than he does and Butch lets them basically do what they want if they don't like his individual workout/program for that kid...

It might actually be a good exercise for you. You’re allowed to say something that everyone else knows is true instead of trying to be difficult.

Sorry to interrupt...whatever it is we're doing in this thread today...but per LittleDTO, apparently an agreement has been reached on Butch's buyout.

Considering the source, definitely TIFWIW.

I think that's why some believed that Hart was willing to retain Dooley into 2013 if he had beaten Vandy. He just wasn't ready to make the move, even after the Mizzou debacle, and his hand was forced by that Vandy blowout.

I thought Doug Matthews sounded more optimistic a few weeks ago about the powers that be- is he now backtracking that indicating that Haslam will be a problem as usual?

Why waste your time? He used to constantly bad mouth Butch when most everyone else was still on board with Butch. Now that everyone is completely off the Butch train, NOW he loves him and wants to take up for him.

Why do you guys bother when it's SO obvious what he is doing??

Hmmm. The only bad mouthing I ever did on Butch was his culling of recruits which I still think is wrong.

Secondly I respect the good Butch has done for this program and believe it is significant enough for him to be treated graciously by this fan base on the way out.

Thirdly I think it's time from for him to go because his cordinator changes have cost him dearly in back to back years.

A. I'm as skeptical as anyone re the Gruden people. I even left a disclaimer. Just thought people in here would like the info so they can judge for themselves.

B. This isn't exactly that hard to believe. I assume that UT would want to negotiate Butch's buyout.
