If it was just one post I wouldn’t have said anything. Instead you have taken a few shots at him in the past few days including a post where you called him a “disgusting excuse for a fan.” That’s just childish.

This team isn't good. I'm not going to argue it is. It's a big reason why I predicted a 6-6 or 7-5 season. However, I think this team is held up by Butch on the offensive side of the ball. He's so conservative and afraid to lose his job - which I understand - but if his shadow and heavy hand is removed, this offense can improve.

The defense is fine and will only get better because after Alabama we don't play a ton of really good rushing attacks.

Player development and stubbornness from Butch and the staff is why this team is so bad.
Offensive line continues to be bad, lack of development at WR, lack of development of QB. Too stubborn to play backups or adjust system. The list goes on...

Man it’s really not that you’re anti-butch. You really are just taking it over the top. That’s why they’re giving you a hard time because it’s a little much

I've seen teams with much less physical talent perform better. This ALL coaching. IMO Players are never put in position to maximize anything due to coaching .

That's true, but this is a coaching issue that runs deep in the program. This is years in the making. An interim can't fix that in a week. We've lost the bye week opportunity to make any changes, however minor. It's all game prep the rest of the way.

I feel like Butch is on the verge of completely ruining the
appreciation of the fan base for all the hard work he has
done for this program. If he humbly leaves after the Alabama game, I feel like the majority of the fans will always remember him as a man of character that took over a job few wanted who worked hard and did the best he could leaving the program in better shape than he found it.

If he keeps just spewing out butchisms and hanging around after this week, I fear that legacy goes out the door.

Absolutely. The weight room issues have been going on for years now and it's evident. We've got big guys we no strength. It's why every team (even UMASS!) controls the line of scrimmage against us. Player development has been incredibly bad. I head a guy on the radio with CFB Matrix and he said by their algorithm we have the 9th best roster in the country with bottom 100 level coaching.

Sucks. We were on a solid trajectory through the 2015 season. Guys were developing on the lines of scrimmage. Jones and Hall looked like future All-Americans on the OL.

Man, we looked good by the end of 2015. I would've taken the Vols against anyone in the country when they were clicking.

The fall has been so disappointing. Felt like we were SO close, and now falling behind yet again.

You are right, but it had nothing to do with being negative. We all saw what was happening. To be fair, you got too emotional and banged the drum too many times. Everyone has a different way of going about it, but in a time of crisis, you need clear, rational thinking to make decisions.

He coaches scared with a lead. With a lead is when you can get aggressive. IMO But he banks on a defense that's dominant only in his mind I guess.

Jones was a bad S&C decision away from winning the East in 2016 and likely being on track for a 9-3 season this year.
