Amen to that. We all know this whole, Gruden coaching again, thing is going to come down to Cindy Gruden. I hope she loves Dollywood.

She loves the cinnamon bread. Didn't we cover that last night? I think it was determined it is like an unhealthy cocaine?

That's true. However, we never got confirmation on her and Vicky getting funnel cakes.

*I'm going back to bed. My alarm won't go off for another hour. Dang you Grudenmania.

In my house there is a woman getting ready for work and a man getting home from work. The secret to a healthy marriage you ask?? One working first shift and the other working 3rd shift.

Does Vicky now cozying up to Cindy (the next First Lady of Voldom) mean that Vicky is willing to lift the curse she put on us when Phil was fired.

Yes, it looks like everyone took their meds last night. It also seems, Sara, that us ladies are always the early risers.

Add me to the list of early morning ladies. I got up at 5, made lunches for the kiddos, drank a cup of coffee, and after the kids get off to school, I'm going for a nice long run in this amazing fall weather.

I can't get too sleep yet, may as well stay up and get back to Grude time. I wonder what the thread speed will be this time next week. LOL! SOON!!!!!

Good thought. I?m wondering if I should go ahead and clear the whole schedule next week. Will probably need to focus all my energy on VN?s Grude thread. Catching up will be impossible.

I think it would depend on what ESPN would be willing to do and what Jon would want to do. If he wants to finish the season out or if he would rather shift all his focus to UT . ESPN would probably want him to finish out the season but if they can get another guy lined up for it then they might be okay with it. I don't think it's a big deal though. I think a bigger deal is canceling QB camp and all the endorsement deals he would have to drop. There's gotta be some cash in getting out of those contracts.

It depends even more on what their contracts says. I would bet that he negotiated termination language in the event he accepts a coaching position. Even then, he would want his exit to be professional, which takes us to your points.

The contract language, though, is what most likely would determine if he could leave early or not.

I've caught up on VN, made a hot breakfast for my husband as well as lunch for him and all three kids, worked (for profit) and done my yoga. About to get the kids up and ready for school. Early mornings give me a feeling of accomplishment before my 3 year-old dictator starts bossing me around. VN is making that much more fun.

I'm seriously trying to work ahead this week, and very glad my boss will be on vacation next week.

The groundhog emerged for a tangerine LaCroix, saw it's shadow, and retreated back to the inner sanctum. 30 more minutes of controlling the television remote.

I can relate. I have a couple of dictators at my house, as well. Early morning quiet time is a necessity. And here I am on VN instead of getting backpacks ready. What have I become? ;-)
