His agent isn't going to allow for a "no Nebraska" clause in there. I don't think I've ever heard of something like that in a college coach contract.

He knows the fear of that happening is power and something like that would come with a hefty price if we were to put it in there. UT would be better off paying him well and making it where he doesn't want to leave.

Don't think you can single Frost out with some overly restrictive contract just because he played at Nebraska and that job might open up soon. The buyout at the time of the hire would likely be fairly standard for a coach of his standing and comparable to the buyouts other SEC coaches have before they've proven themselves.

He could. But like I said it works both ways. We'd have a huge buyout on our end to fire him.

And Scott Frost doesn't have the checkered past of Petrino. He's gonna be a hot commodity. His agent will get him a deal reflective of that.
