So in other words, he has replied back that he has interest and now the money aspect is being worked up. That's what I choose to take from this anyways.

For what it's worth I remember the last dance with Gruden and I believe that there was mutual interest but it broke down due to poor leadership and marshalling of resources in the AD.

The timing this go around makes me feel more confident that our leadership in the AD this time around has a plan and the determination and backing to do what it takes to get one of his top two and that is all you can ask of Currie.

For what it's worth I also think Peyton having time on his hands has been key to this point.

What speaks volumes about Boro's good intent is this:

He could have ran off but didn't. He's taken it on the chin from lots of people and has still returned to give everyone updates despite all of that.

It may or may not work out this time around with Chucky -- he knows that and is still helping to wave the flag for VN.

To me, that takes guts and character.
