Since we're all tossing out names (and out of respect, I shall not quote the one that many don't want quoted)

Here's my list of current coaches, some have been mentioned, some have not. And their ranking:

Unicorn/Fantasy Land/Never going to happen:

Gruden

Not out of the realm of possibility/large paycheck involved:

Gruden

Reasonably solid hires if you like 8-10 win seasons/can't get to the next level or inconsistent seasons/large paycheck involved/otherwise happy at current location:

Gruden

Possibility, though unproven long term at the P5 level/high risk involved/possible large paycheck involved:

Gruden

My goal, should Gruden fall through, is simple. I don't want to need to Google the new coach to see who he is. I don't think that is asking too much.

Only name I had no inkling of was Houston. Watch more football! :aggressive:

I'd tend to think Petersen would have to be a solid $6 mil a year, maybe $6.5 if Washington played the raise game.

Kelly, likely $7 mil, possibly a bidding war if we went against a program like UCLA, ATM or Florida that has money to burn (and they do)

Patterson is the least likely to leave his current location since, again, he's been there for going on 20 years. I won't even hazard a guess as to what it'd take.
Petersen would be a Bargin at 6.5!
