Bruin, what other 5 games can BBB win:

USCe - L
Bama - yeah right
UK - nope
Southern Miss - W (I will give u one)
Missouri - Only east team worse than us
LSU - don't think so
Vandy - Maybe a W but have significant doubts

Really see 3 wins or worse. This team scored only 17 points against a glorified high school team.

Sad thing about it is this is the same team that showed up against UMASS. Not thinking the chemistry between Scott, Canales and Beard is very good.

Lsu is losing right now to Troy. Kentucky might lose to eastern michigan. I think all the schedule sucks except Bama. We get any kind of qb play and winning 8 is easily obtainable

I think they're all games that we could lose. Even southern miss. Remember umass? One of the worst teams in the country

So we should keep Butch because we have a ton of horrible teams on our schedule?

I don't see him beating all of those bad teams. Surely not enough to go 8-4. Bama is a guaranteed loss so we're already at 3 losses on the year. Don't see him slipping up only once vs LSU, UK, Mizzou, South Carolina, and Vandy. Hell, even Southern Miss could pose a threat.

Still got to let it play out. How does bringing in an interim now help at all?

We should keep him on the sidelines because he is our coach and has bought us out of the doldrums. Firing coaching Midseason is bad bussines.

Sorry, I thought you had advocated for keeping him in general if he went 8-4. I don't see him getting to that record but even if he did it would be a very weak 8-4 and would pretty indicative that we aren't competitive in the East at all moving forward. The lack of QB development is extremely troubling.

I am at 8-4. When that doesn't happen I am
All for making a change

Quit acting like you can name any other situation besides Miles (LSU's outcome is still TDB, btw) and Fulmer being fired midsession resulting in bad outcomes.

I think we can win any game without CBJ as easily as we can win it with him. Sometimes, when change is inevitable, it's cathartic to go ahead and make it.

JG hasn't been practicing much with the 1s. Start there and see if he can build some confidence and find a rhythm with the receivers.
