His team didn’t show up to a home game and nearly gave it away to a team that hadn’t won a game all year
Just got blown out at home and top it with a shutout

With Currie being new and politics / optics being what they are, here is my prediction. Butch is fired in 3 weeks after we lose to South Carolina and Bama. At that point we have a losing record and Tennessee does not look like we make knee jerk decisions, hence the national politics. It will be obvious to all the regression and the lost locker room.

Why wait? It’s not going to get any better and with the looks of the rest of the schedule there might be 1-2 wins. Finishing with 0 SEC wins. Just wipe the slate clean and start the process early.

I agree it is not going to get better. I don't know anyone personally who does think it will get better. I simply think the decision makers will do what I said because they are generally a conservative group.

GA didnt impress me. Our defense cant catch or we have 2 picks in 1st qtr. W no offense GA just looked better than they are. Dormady was off, and for not being good to begin with...well there u go

Georgia is one of the better teams in the nation. Top 15 team for sure. Our offense is just being exposed. We are one dimensional. We have a solid running back but that is about it. No other real threats. Or defense was hung out to dry, they are decent but the offense is as bad as anything Dooley ever fielded, even worse.

Makes sense. Obviously it's over. But unless there's internal turmoil- locker room, athletics facilities, etc.- I'm not sure I see the point of not waiting. If Currie didn't start the search weeks ago, he's an idiot and we're in trouble.

I am sitting here watching the Bama game and I really don't know how bad that game is going to get. I mean is 60 to 0 possible, even likely? I see our offense sucking again, just not making plays when needed and being predictable, then our defense getting tired quickly and then walked all over.
