Dooley averaged #13 ranked classes in his time here. And he basically did everything to not recruit.
And once again, he wouldnt be playing UGA with a roster made up of a majority of 3 stars.
He would have a roster with majority of 4/5 stars. Hence, better talent against weaker competition. Trading Auburn, LSU, and A&M for Vandy, South Carolina, and Mizzou is a swap of tougher competition for weaker competition.
Worst part about all of this, for me anyway. I'm not sold on thinking we lose to them both. We probably should, but who the F knows? We could beat both then lose to Mizz and SMU.
It really is frustrating. But I know you know that.
It's why we play the game Behr. We could go 5-7 or 10-2. Nobody knows untill it plays out. No reason to moan untill then.
Nobodys right at this point.
Nobodys wrong at this point.

6-22 against top 25
5th place finish in the West 5 of 8 years.
Those things suggest hes losing games he should be winning.
So, he has a majority of 3 stars... they beat Akron 17-16 in last years bowl. How is that any better than Butch and co. Today ?
Yea that's real funny. NFL turnover and 8 new coaches. A top 10 2018 recruiting class coming in and a 2019 top 5 recruiting class coming in!
Hey Bearded, how's Mullen doing tonight?
Be serious dude. You said Dooley was proof Tennessee doesn’t sell itself in recruiting. The guy tried to destroy our recruiting yet averaged the #13 class in 3 years. So yes Tennessee does sell itself. You said it didn’t and I proved you wrong.

just feel like answering with gifs and pics tonight. Pretty sure they're self explanatory.
You didnt prove anything. This isnt 1998, TN does not sell itself. Im sorry. It doesnt.
Nothing is ever certain, but if I had to make a bet right now, based off of what I have seen over the last 4.3 seasons, I bet on losing both.
My comment was mainly for this idea that GA whipping MSU means Mullen is terrible. If we lose to both GA and LSU , what does that say about Mullen considering we lost to both and he split them? Is he still terrible?
Dude once again, you said Tennessee doesnt sell itself and your main detail to that claim was to look at Dooley.
He averaged the #13 class each year while putting zero effort into recruiting. Hate to break it to you, but Tennessee does indeed sell itself.
Unless you think Butchs rare wristwatch collection sells Tennessee?

5?8 new coaches? You mean 5? And who cares how well he is recruiting, we had consecutive top ten classes in '14 and '15. How's that working out right now?
Are really that blind in your hatred for Butch? He recruits circles around Mullen. It kills you to admit it because it damages your argument that Mullen would be a slam dunk hire here. You push the TN sells itself as an attempt to dismiss Butchs success.
