Today? No. But unless he wins the East it's time to move on. And hopefully Currie doesn't let him go until he has a very good replacement on the line. Should be a much better pool of candidates this go round.

need to be looking a little harder at the blocking. Someone was out of position which forced the high throw.

Contrary to what some national media seemed to portray this preseason our team has a lot of talent. I will think Jones for bringing us out of the muck that was the Dooley era but it is apparent to me that he is a bit in over his head. He is a good recruiter and a below average coach. The east has been very winnable and I think it's time we move on as it's obvious he can't get it done

Does anyone believe that Butch didn't get the raise or extension he wanted and it ticked him off. Butch hired Jimmy Sexton to work behind scenes and land Butch a job at a much lower profile school next year?

Rumor is that they are bringing back Dooley. He's agreed to work for the remainder of his buyout money only and boosters are tired of wasting money on coaching staff. They are also planning on bringing back Sunseri as co-defensive coordinator with Shoop. I've got some primo tickets for the Welcome Back Derek Dooley Game for $500 each. The East has been horrid for most of his tenure. But we haven't won it one time. He needs to be fired at the end of the year.

Early yes. That new signing period is going to be interesting for coaches. Going to see October firings. There will be a Chip Kelly sweepstakes. Not saying we will be involved.A&M will be looking too.

A loss to Georgia will be detrimental to CBJ. It would be very difficult for him to win the division. Win that game and the goal is still in play.

i agree in theory but they couldnt stop JMFK in the 4th quarter. Ty had fresh legs and he runs just as hard as JMFK

Saturday at UF made it clear he can't win championships at UT. He's done a great job cleaning up the program and restocking the cupboard, and I'm grateful to him for that. But he's had 5 years and I've seen enough to know his gameday coaching won't get it done at UT. Time for Currie to go get a very good coach before we lose this talented roster and have to rebuild completely, again. With the current state of the program and roster it shouldn't be too difficult to upgrade.

You are forgetting that with Butili at MLB they went right down the field. With Jumper they punted multiple times and had three and outs. . Then we put Butili back in and they scored again. Why do we let results cloud our biased???

First drive he had a big hit, thought that could've been a tone setter. Then all of a sudden he's out of the game. Jumper is so bad it's not even funny, he's been responsible for opponents TD's so many times it's not funny.

Usually I expect UT admin to crap the bed as usual in a scenario like this, but Currie has done impressive things since he was hired- especially not giving Butch an extension. We are in much better financial position than 2012 with a very talented roster. Timing is critical here- if boosters are unhappy and ready to move this is the time, I don't care what the season record ends up being.

Yeah I don't think you're right about this. They scored their first TD with Jumper in the game and he blew two opportunities to make stops.


You need to take your own advice
