Yea I get that some but after JK dropped the first down pass I think you had to throw it 2 more times to try and win the game. Have to put the failure to score a TD on the players on that one IMO.

Mason is a good defensive coach.


But Vandy doesn't have the Jimmies and Joes to keep Bama from scoring any less than 30 points.


And Shurmer's been better, but he's not gonna do any better than Francois from FSU did against Bama's D.


Only way Vandy beats the spread is if Bama lets off the gas early.

I don't get this thinking.

We'd had absolutely no success passing in the redzone all day. We would've benefitted more taking our chances on he ground and making UF burn timeouts.

I've said it elsewhere but let's be real: time to bring Tee Martin home. He has so much in common with a young Phil it's unreal -- great OC considered brilliant by his peers, up and comer that everyone knows is about to land an HC job, is Tennessee through and through, would have the backing of Fulmer and Majors which helps a ton with various hires. On and on.

It's Tee Time. Let's get it done.

I think the youth at wr and splitting the reps in fall between QD and JG is having an effect. There have been plays every game where QD and the wr have not been on the same page.

And he runs an offensive system that helps the defense by not running at such a fast pace.

We just had a wide open player in the route. Right at half our runs resulted in 2 or less yards. All those defenders are closer to the LOS. I think you have to pass from the 9.

I know it's hard to know for sure, but what do you think the chances are that Currie can actually pull a proven guy in here? If he can't, do you have any thoughts on Venables? I know I sound like a broken record but something about that guy just gives the feeling he'd do well here.

I agree and even though the pass was a little short and behind it should have been a td.Still i would have ran it all 3 downs. We had the momentum. No need to force plays when the defense was worn out
