That's fair on Harbaugh. But still doesn't matter. Just because Rex Ryan wasn't great in the NFL doesn't mean he couldn't coach in college. See Spurrier and Saban. He won a SB as a DC also. He'd be a great coach imo. Better than Butch anyway and better than any other coach in the east.

I think the most realistic option would be a guy like Venables. He'll be a hot commodity after this year. Especially if Clemson goes to the playoff for a third consecutive year.

Yep. The same mistake was made 7 times in the red zone just yesterday. 7 missed opportunities to fix that mistake in that game alone.

You would think that after they didn't run it at all first and goal inside the one and saw what a failure that was they would surely not make the same mistake first and goal at the 9. With a minute left. Needing to score and run out the clock.

Butch not putting anyone in the draft this year is going to be bad news for him. As are unhappy 5*s and blue-chip guys who either aren't getting developed or aren't playing nearly as much as they should be.

Just a lot of stuff adding up to suggest that he should be cut loose, possibly even at 8-4 (and 3-12 against our rivals isn't a good look if that record comes to fruition).

Devil's Advocate: McIntyre just had a Title IX issue at Colorado. Don't know that they will take that chance. We tried for Gundy before, and I seriously doubt he leaves his alma mater when he doesn't have to play an SEC schedule. I will be interested to see if anything comes up with the NCAA and MSU. It could be sour grapes, but I had an Ole Miss person tell me that MSU has some exposure after Leo Lewis testified last week.

I am in Memphis, and Mike Norvell is growing on me. Young and a great recruiter. Needs to bring a high level DC.

Norvell for me also.

I don't understand what Gundy has done to make us salivate over him any time a coaching change is brought up or why we think he would leave his alma mater? Weird

Why wouldn't John Kelly enter the draft?

Ugh, I forgot he will already be draft eligible. Yeah, he's going based on his performance so far this year. But I don't know if anyone else will be.

I'm guessing Kelly and Robertson get drafted as of now. Daniel gets in the NFL but I don't know about drafted.

Kelly and Kamara and Byrd will end up being the most underused stars Tennessee has ever had.

We are hearing Cortez McDowell could be out with a wrist injury that he suffered in the loss to Florida. I am told he is expected to need surgery and his recovery timetable is unknown.
