You love moving the cheese. Ready to pack him up yourself after the GT game, ready to give him an extension after the Florida game.
I used to think you were just flighty, but you're a provocateur.
I'm more worried about vandy than LSU. Also I was very very wrong about SC. Now that deebo is gone they're going to struggleJust want a coach that doesn't lose to teams we are better than, loses only to teams we are worse than, and beats at least 50% of the teams we are equal to. For this season, that would mean:
GT - win
ISU - win
UF - 50/50
Umass - win
UGA - 50/50
USCjr - win
Bama - loss
UK - win
S. Miss - win
Mizzou - win
LSU - 50/50
Vandy - win
9-3 or 10-2.
He needs to shut the hell up and do his job. If he could have done the simple job of getting a snap off without a penalty we would have likely won.
Appreciate the perspective you're bringing this morning Bruin.
It's remarkable to me how delusional this fanbase is. We haven't won more than 8 games in over a decade or won the east.
We lose our QB and all time career sack leader amonst other key parts. Vegas puts our overall win total at 7.5 and we want our new AD to put down the ultimatum that we have to win the east or fire the coach.
Delusional!
So 1st and 5 and you still can't run the ball? Thanks.
One more before I take a break.
The refusing to run the ball inside the 10 thing is overblown. Pretty sure that 1st down play was a run/pass option and QD choose pass. All week we heard talk about first down plays being run/pass option with QD making the choice. Obviously florida was selling out inside and unfortunately he choose pass.
After that JG didn't do his job and it wasn't so easy to call a run.
The other time from the 9 we obviously made the right call but Kelly dropped the damn thing. After that it's hard to call a run from the 9.
QD was not the problem yesterday. He wasn't great, but he wasn't awful either. The O-line was good against a quality D. Receivers not catching balls, Palmer's route running, kickers missing FG's, getting Jumperized, etc. were all issues. But who chooses which players to use, makes the dumb play calls, schemes poorly, and makes the stupid in-game decisions for the team? Those are the people that lost the game and other winnable games in Butch's tenure.
