With this roster and the recruiting class coming in, a top coach could win the east and seriously contend for the SEC. We have the players. Honestly, if we had Saban, Mullen, Stoops, Meyer, Harbaugh, Gundy, or any of these top guys beat the breaks off of Florida and probably win 11 games this season with this roster and schedule. This Florida game isn't close. And here we are.

So a player can do what he wants as long as he doesn't direct to a player?

Come on surely you understand how that doesn't hold water

How is it any different than a player doing the shushing finger over their mouth when they score on the road? Things like that are never called.

Guarantano and Kelly on the read option alone make JG the better choice. I have seen nothing from Dormady that makes me think he's far enough ahead of Guarantano as a passer to warrant being the starter. He was supposed to be dropping dimes. Still waiting for those.

Defenses aren't at all concerned about QD keeping the ball.

Did everybody see that awesome, physical block that took out two guys by Tyler Byrd? Glad to see they are making such good use out of an elite athlete with 4.2-3 speed.

No catches through 3 games. Need a CB? Clueless.

It's a crime how they're wasting his talent. I'm not even sure he had a target today. Pathetic.

Agreed. His strength is supposed to be as a passer. He's below average and panics under pressure. Wouldn't take much for JG to be the better option, especially with his mobility.

This is where I am. I'm not changing my views till after UGA. Preseason, I thought we'd lose to Florida. We are where I thought we'd be right now.

I mean that's fine. But there is an endless list of headscratching coaching decisions in every single game. Those fall on Butch. We have seen enough of these to be able to call it a trend.

I don't know what he can do outside of beating Bama to save his job. Even then, I'm still probably done with him.

Black beat them deep and pulled a nosey Safety out of the box.

That was at the beginning. Then the pick 6s. Trust me they were stacking the box more cause they didn't think he could beat them and they smelled bloodand was going to force him to beat them. But whatever.

Our ol needs to play with the same physicality in the last half of the 4th quarter all game. No reason they couldn't move the ball stack box or not. There is too much talent and experience to say otherwise.

You have to measure the degree of "taunting". Shaking your finger for a second is pushing the limit but doing it for an extended time should get flagged.
The gator chomp should get flagged every single time. If the team wasn't warned about that it's bad coaching.

How would you feel if they kept running Kelly and scored and went up 24-20 and then the hail mary happened?

I'm asking myself this question and I don't know the answer.

Anyone watching Ole Miss Cal?

Showed our trash can. It has HTB on side announcer said it stands for "hunt the ball but might stand for hit the bricks after today"

Yikes

JG hit Palmer deep faster than Dormady did and he had less live reps.

Fair enough. Like I said it was unnecessary so it's not like the call pissed me off. I just taunting had to actually be directed at someone.

The players deserve better and we fans who have suffered for all these years but still supporting the team, spending our money, traveling to games, we deserve better too. Surely Currie and at least some boosters can't think this is acceptable.

So weird how 100,000 screaming fans can chomp at yell slurs at you all day and you actually score a TD and can't do it back. These taunting rules are horse crap.

I don't think I would've been as pissed, same with the Hail Mary, if UF gets 10yds and the guy has to make a long field goal I don't think I would've been that mad either

Soft argument. Surely you expect players to be held to a higher standard than fools like us in the stands

Doesn't matter. Can't taunt the crowd, camera, players, coaches or anyone. He knows better and that as much as any other play cost us the game.

Wrong the rule specifically states can't point finger, hands, arm, or ball at an opponent. Nothing about fans or cameras. Granted it says you can't bring attention to yourself or teammates but what td doesnt do that.
